WESTMONT, IL - January 14, 2002 United Plastics Group,
Inc. (UPG) announced today that it is closing two manufacturing
facilities in Brooksville, FL and Montreal, Canada as
part of its continuing corporate restructuring initiative
to strengthen and grow the company.

Westmont, IL - July 18, 2001 - United Plastics Group
(UPG) announced today that President and CEO William
J. Kriss will be stepping down. He will be succeeded
by Shannon M. White, effective immediately. Mr. White
has previously held senior executive positions with
Rexam PLC, Aluminum Company Of America, and AlliedSignal
Inc.
